About Retinaldehyde LipoVes®
Our LipoVes® are highest purity cosmetic Retinaldehyde encapsulated in a natural phospholipid. The poorly water soluble, easily oxidized and not light stable Retinaldehyde is, through the encapsulation, stable and suitable for oil and water systems.
The
approximate particle size is 50nm to 150nm.
Our complete range of LipoVes® does not fall under EC 1223/2009 nanomaterials.
Our Retinaldehyde LipoVes® are having a shelf life of 1 year.
Science behind the LipoVes®
The
phosholipids interact with the surface of the stratum corneum being
involved in the process of skin formation and skin renewal.
Having
a very
small
size
(below
the
size
of
a virus)
the
encapsulated Retinal is
transported deep into the skin and is released then only.
The
efficassy is therefore much higher compared to „normal“ Retinol which stays at the surface of the skin.
